Nostalgia
I've been working on these for a while now, slowly feeling my way, allowing the idea and the images to form themselves. I didn't want to look at it too directly in case . . . I don't know, in case it vanished perhaps.Nostalgia . . . from the Greek nostos - to return home, and algos - pain. A form of regret, a longing, a seeking for. A sense of trying to capture the uncapturable which only serves to enhance it's bitter-sweet quality. Not sure which of these two I prefer . . . I shall live with them for a while before deciding.

Thank you for your other post about needing to let things develop and it being natural for creativity to come and go - we're working on a new album and in such short spaces of time, really just thinking "ok, I have five free minutes and need to produce something, go!" It's very good to be reminded that it doesn't really work like that so I shouldn't put so much pressure on myself! x
